VEEMUX DVI VIDEO SWITCH FIRMWARE RELEASE NOTES Last Update 2019/05/30 This listing provides the version number of the NTI VEEMUX 4x4, 16X16 and 32X32 DVI VIDEO MATRIX SWITCH firmware files, the date of the release, and a summary of the changes in that release. NOTE: Performing a firmware update on units with new hardware (made after August 2018) using firmware versions earlier than 3.0 will render the VEEMUX unbootable. If this happens, contact NTI for support. NOTE: VEEMUXs (except 8x8) having firmware versions 2.1 or earlier MUST be updated to version 2.2 before being updated to any version newer than 2.2. Updating the VEEMUX to version 2.3 or later without this step will render the VEEMUX unbootable. 3.5 2019/05/30 Feature Add: Disabled weak TLS ciphers to improve network security Feature Add: Added support for switch control through SSH 3.4 2018/12/03 Feature Add: Added support for custom x509 TLS certificates. If earlier versions are needed, please contact NTI for support. 2.9 2018/06/29 Added Feature: VEEMUX can be set to boot to the last used configuration. 2.8 2018/05/07 Added Feature: IR can now be disabled/enabled in web interface Bug Fix: Made correction where hotplug info is now saved in config file. 2.7 2018/02/19 Function Change: Firmware update to work with special hardware modification that fixes/prevents possible "no boot" issue. Firmware only has effect on units that have the hardware modification. No improvements or effects will be seen by the user. Note: This change affects units made after January 2018. There will be no change if applied to units made prior to February 2018.
