AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the XTENDEX® DVI Extender IR and Stereo Audio Options via One CAT5/6/7 to its popular line of DVI extenders.
The XTENDEX DVI Extender transmits digital DVI video up to 300 feet away from a DVI source over a single CAT5/6/7 cable. Each video extender consists of a local unit that connects to a single link digital DVI source and optional IR emitter, and a remote unit that connects to a DVI display and optional IR receiver.
With the optional IR control, the DVI source can be controlled from the remote HDTV using the existing remote control for the source device. Only one power supply is necessary to power both the local and remote units, and the units are connected via a single CAT5/6/7 cable. Optional stereo audio is available allowing a user to extend audio and video up to 300 feet away, a cheaper alternative than using an HDMI extender.
Available for immediate sale, the ST-C6DVI-300 DVI extender costs $385, the ST-C6DVI-IR-300 DVI + IR extender costs $400, the ST-C6DVIA-300 DVI + Stereo Audio extender costs $450, and the ST-C6DVIA-IR-300 DVI + Stereo Audio + IR costs $460.
