AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the XTENDEX® HDMI USB KVM Extender with IR Option via One CAT5/6/7 to its popular line of KVM Extenders.
The HDMI USB KVM Extender provides local and remote KVM (USB keyboard, USB mouse and HDMI monitor) access to a USB computer up to 300 feet over CAT5/6/7 cable. Each ST-C6USBH-300 consists of a local unit that connects to a computer, and a remote unit that connects to a keyboard, monitor and mouse.
With the optional IR control, the HDMI source can be controlled from the remote HDTV using the existing remote control for the source device. Only one power supply is necessary to power both the local and remote units, and the units are connected via a single CAT5/6/7 cable. The optional additional USB 2.0 port allows a user to connect a USB touch screen monitor, interactive whiteboard, or CAC card reader to the remote unit.
Available for immediate sale, the ST-C6USBH-300 USB KVM Extender costs $530, the ST-C6USBHU-300 USB KVM Extender with Additional USB Port costs $600, the ST-C6USBH-IR-300 USB KVM Extender with IR costs $545, and the ST-C6USBHU-IR-300 USB KVM Extender with IR and Additional USB Port costs $615.
