NTI Introduces HDTV Extender via CAT5
AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc announced the addition of the XTENDEX™ HDTV Extenders via CAT5 to its popular line of extenders. The extenders broadcast YPbPr component video and analog or digital audio locally and remotely up to 600 feet away from a component video device (DVD, CD, satellite receiver, etc) using CAT5/5e/6 cable. Each video extender consists of a local unit that connects to a component video device and supplies video and audio to a local display and speakers, and a remote unit that connects to a TV and speakers.
The ST-C5HDA-600 supports YPbPr component video and digital audio, while the ST-C5HDTV-600 supports YPbPr component video and analog stereo audio. Both units support 480i (interlaced), 480p (progressive), 720i, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p formats.
With the HDTV extenders you can easily transmit a high-definition component video signal to a projector in the ceiling by using compact CAT5 cable instead of bulky cable bundles, or send high quality video signals from the DVD player in your basement to the great room upstairs.
Immediately available, the XTENDEX™ ST-C5HDA-600 HDTV Extender via CAT5 with Digital Audio costs $330, and the ST-C5HDTV-600 HDTV Extender via CAT5 with Stereo Audio costs $350.
